Anyone else having problems with the new images, both the A and the B?
The A image on an 8305 looks for a HP driver in the c:\drivers\NIC folder. You manually direct it the correct folder and it runs ManageSoft forever and does not finish; I had to go back to the old A image.
The B image on an 8215 looks for the Nic in the E:\ drive; does work if you manually point it in the right direction.

ALL,
I had two (2!) students come in this morning with Word 2007 .docx documents to print for class that would not open in Word 2003. I found this article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base, dated 20April2007:
Microsoft Office Compatibility Pack for Word, Excel, and PowerPoint 2007 File Formats
at http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/thankyou.aspx?familyId=941b34
"By installing the Compatibility Pack in addition to Microsoft Office 2000, Office XP, or Office 2003, you will be able open, edit, and save files using the new file formats."
I tested this converter and was able to open the files under Office 2003 and print them for the students.
I recommend this software be installed on our images that do NOT have Office 2007, if it has not been already, as I am sure this situation will occur again.
